This 3.33-kilometer extension, featuring three elevated stations, is estimated to cost Rs 1,067.35 crore and is scheduled for completion in approximately four years. The project, implemented by India — Rajasthan Metro Rail Corporation Limited (a 50:50 joint venture between the India — India and the Gujarat — Government of Gujarat), aims to strengthen connectivity between India — Ahmedabad and the India — GIFT City region. It is projected to benefit approximately 23,702 passengers daily by 2029, rising to 58,059 by 2041, and will create around 1,000 construction jobs and 250 operational jobs. The extension is expected to boost commerce and improve 'Ease of Living' for daily commuters, multinational companies, educational institutions, and commercial centers along the route.
