Gujarat Auctions Land for Hotel

The India — Gujarat government has successfully completed the e-auction of a 5-acre plot in the Sanand-2 Industrial Estate, allotting the land to a developer for the construction of a 3 to 5-star hotel within four years. This initiative aims to enhance hospitality infrastructure for national and multinational companies, particularly with the upcoming inauguration of Micron Technology's advanced semiconductor plant by Narendra Modi on February 28, 2026. Under the leadership of Bhupendrabhai Patel, India — Gujarat continues to strengthen its industrial ecosystem and social infrastructure, including establishing a women's industrial park and advancing 'Ease of Doing Business' policies. Additionally, the India — Gujarat government announced a Rs 100 crore provision to develop pilgrimage areas into green and power-safe zones and allocated Rs 7,690 crore for the Women and Child Welfare sector, with Manisha Vakil chairing a press conference on the latter.
