Xiaomi has officially launched its new flagship smartphone series, the Xiaomi 17 and Xiaomi 17 Ultra, in India on March 11, 2026. These devices feature top-tier hardware, advanced camera systems developed in collaboration with Leica Camera, and improved displays. Both models are powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 processor. The Xiaomi 17 is priced starting at ₹89,999, while the Xiaomi 17 Ultra starts at ₹1,39,999. Early bird sales begin on March 13, with general availability from March 18 across Amazon (company), mi.com, and Xiaomi retail stores. The launch includes various offers such as discounts, free damage protection, and a Photography Kit Pro for the Xiaomi 17 Ultra. The Xiaomi 17 Ultra introduces a 1-inch LOFIC main camera sensor for enhanced dynamic range and a 200MP telephoto lens with continuous optical zoom. The Xiaomi 17 offers a compact design with a triple 50MP Leica camera system. Amandeep Singh, Chief Business Officer of Xiaomi, highlighted the focus on performance, battery life, and professional imaging.
