India hosts 11th Raisina Dialogue

The 11th Raisina Dialogue, India's flagship conference on geopolitics and geo-economics, was inaugurated by Prime Minister Narendra Modi in New Delhi on March 5, 2026. The three-day event, scheduled from March 5-7, brought together global leaders, policymakers, and experts from 110 countries to deliberate on key international challenges. Alexander Stubb, the President of Finland, attended as the Chief Guest and delivered the keynote address. The dialogue, organized by the Observer Research Foundation in partnership with India's Ministry of External Affairs, focused on the theme 'Samskara -- Assertion, Accommodation, Advancement.' Discussions were held across six thematic pillars, including 'Contested Frontiers: Power, Polarity, and Periphery' and 'Tomorrowland: Towards a Tech-topia.' The event also addressed the tension between traditional alliances and a 'technopolar' world, where influence is determined by control over artificial intelligence, semiconductor supply chains, and digital infrastructure. The dialogue is a significant forum for shaping global policy debates, similar to the Munich Security Conference, and concluded with discussions on India's long-term development roadmap, 'Viksit Bharat 2047.'
