His funeral prayer was held at Al-Taqwa Mosque, Taman Tun Dr Ismail, and he was laid to rest at the Bukit Kiara Muslim Cemetery on March 9, with notable attendees including Anwar Ibrahim, the Prime Minister of Malaysia, and Tengku Ampuan Pahang Tunku Azizah Aminah Maimunah Iskandariah.
