Adani Power has secured a Letter of Award from Abuja Electricity Distribution Company Ltd (Abuja Electricity Distribution Company) for a 25-year power supply agreement of 1,600 MW. This contract, commencing in FY2030-31, was awarded after Adani Power emerged as the lowest-tariff bidder at Rs 5.30/kWh. This achievement is part of Adani Power's broader strategy to expand its generation capacity from 18.15 GW to 41.87 GW by 2031-32, with investments of approximately Rs 2 lakh crore. The company has won multiple long-term power supply bids, totaling 10,400 MW in FY2025-26, and has tied up 13.3 GW of its 23.8 GW under-implementation pipeline. S. B.
