The successful exit of Venture Catalysts from Pee Safe with a significant return highlights the potential for high returns in early-stage investments in the women's hygiene and wellness sector. The new funding for Pee Safe, led by OrbiMed, indicates continued investor confidence in the company's growth trajectory and the broader market for personal care products.
Venture Catalysts, an early-stage investment fund, has fully exited its investment in women's hygiene and wellness brand Pee Safe, generating a 9.6x return on its initial investment and an extended internal rate of return (XIRR) of 30.53%. This exit followed a $32 million funding round for Pee Safe led by healthcare-focused private equity firm OrbiMed in January 2026. Other early investors, including We Founder Circle, Alkemi Growth Capital, and AlphaTON Capital, also exited the company. Pee Safe, founded by Vikas Bagaria, has expanded its product portfolio and omnichannel distribution, with products available in over 50,000 offline retail outlets and various e-commerce platforms. The company's revenue from operations grew 46% to Rs 82 crore in FY25. Existing investors like Zerodha-backed Rainmatter and Natco Pharma continue to be part of Pee Safe's investor base. The new capital will be used by Pee Safe to expand its offline retail presence, strengthen marketing, and deepen its reach across quick commerce and online marketplaces.
