The 'Galaxy Forever' program by Samsung Electronics is expected to positively impact the consumer electronics market in India by increasing the accessibility and sales of premium smartphones like the Samsung Galaxy and Samsung Galaxy. This initiative could set a new benchmark for smartphone ownership models, potentially influencing other manufacturers and financial service providers.
Samsung Electronics has launched a new ownership program called 'Galaxy Forever' in India, aiming to make its flagship smartphones, the Samsung Galaxy and Samsung Galaxy, more accessible. Under this program, customers can use these devices for a year by paying 50 percent of the total cost through 12 no-interest EMIs, along with a monthly program fee. After one year, users have three options: return the device for an assured 50 percent buyback value, retain it by paying the remaining 50 percent, or upgrade to a newer Galaxy flagship model. The program also includes Samsung Electronics Care+ coverage for accidental and liquid damage. This initiative is available via Samsung Electronics.com and over 1,500 Samsung Electronics Experience Stores across India, and is also extended to corporate employees and students. Samsung Electronics partnered with Servify and Khandelwal Finance Private Limited to manage the program's logistics.
