After jumping interim bail in 2024, Karamvir fled to Nepal for nearly a year before returning to India and frequently changing locations across various states. At the time of his arrest in Kotputli, Rajasthan, police recovered a fake passport and other forged identification documents, which he had been using to evade capture and was planning to use to flee the country again. His arrest is believed to have thwarted planned attacks on rival gangs and businessmen.
