ICC Prosecutor Karim Khan Misconduct Review

Allegations of sexual misconduct against Karim Ahmad Khan, the Chief Prosecutor of the International — International Criminal Court, are currently under review by the court's executive branch. Khan has temporarily stepped aside pending the investigation into accusations of a non-consensual sexual relationship with a lawyer in his office, which he denies. This investigation coincides with United States sanctions against Khan and other International — International Criminal Court officials for their role in investigating alleged Israeli war crimes in Gaza, which led to the indictment of Benjamin Netanyahu. The International — International Criminal Court, with 125 member countries, faces an existential crisis due to these developments, especially as its membership does not include China, Russia, or the United States, which oppose its arrest warrants for sitting leaders like Vladimir Putin and Benjamin Netanyahu.
