XL Bully Owner Guilty of Manslaughter

Sean R. Garner, an XL Bully breeder, has been found guilty at United Kingdom — Queen Elizabeth II Law Courts, Liverpool of causing the death of 84-year-old John McColl. John McColl was attacked by Sean R. Garner's XL Bully, Toretto, after mistakenly entering Sean R. Garner's driveway in Warrington. Neighbours attempted to intervene, but the dog, which police later had to shoot 10 times, guarded John McColl. A second XL Bully, Malibu, was also shot dead by United Kingdom — Cheshire Constabulary. John McColl died a month after the attack from his injuries. Sean R. Garner reportedly made jokes in Facebook voice notes while emergency services were trying to save John McColl and avoided police for two days before handing himself in. He will be sentenced on April 17 and has been remanded into custody.
