BUA Group, led by Abdul Samad Rabiu, and United Bank for Africa (UBA), chaired by Tony Elumelu, have moved to deepen their nearly three-decade-long partnership. The collaboration aims to expand financing frameworks for large-scale manufacturing, strengthen domestic production, and unlock growth across food, infrastructure, and export-oriented value chains in Nigeria. This strategic alignment of capital and industrial capacity is seen as crucial for Nigeria's economic growth. In a parallel development, BUA Foods, a subsidiary of BUA Group, released its audited financial results for the year ended December 31, 2025, reporting a revenue of N1.77 trillion, a 16% increase from the previous year. Profit after tax surged by 95% to N518.4 billion, and the company proposed a dividend of N28 per share, a 115% increase from 2024, totaling N504 billion. This strong performance reflects sustained demand and successful execution of its expansion strategy.
