Arclin, a global materials science company and a portfolio company of TJC, L.P., has completed the acquisition of DuPont's Aramids business, including the Kevlar and Nomex brands, for approximately $1.8 billion. Mark Glaspey, Arclin's President, and Bradley Bolduc, Arclin's CEO, emphasized the strategic importance of this acquisition for operational and geographic footprint expansion and investment in innovation. This is Arclin's third major transaction in under a year, following the acquisition of Polymer Solutions Group and the agreement to purchase Willamette Valley Fruit Company.
