The launch of Lithosphere's Makalu Testnet is expected to positively impact the blockchain and AI markets by providing a new infrastructure layer for intelligent, autonomous, and interoperable decentralized systems. This development could attract developers and investors interested in Web4 technologies, potentially increasing demand for related services and assets.
Lithosphere, developed by KaJ Labs, officially activated its Makalu Testnet, introducing an AI-native blockchain infrastructure designed to support autonomous digital coordination. The testnet features Lithic, an AI-native smart contract language for on-chain intelligent computation, and an agent-based infrastructure model for machine-to-machine interaction. It also integrates MultX for cross-chain interoperability and DNNS for decentralized naming and identity. The LEP100 standards framework supports AI interaction with decentralized systems. J. King Kasar, Chief Scientist at KaJ Labs, highlighted the transition towards infrastructure designed for intelligent systems, positioning Lithosphere as a foundational layer for emerging Web4 systems.
