The two nations also reaffirmed ongoing collaboration in nuclear energy, particularly on new power units for the Kudankulam Nuclear Power Plant. Furthermore, India cleared the procurement of a fresh batch of five S-400 missile systems from Russia, highlighting continued defense cooperation. The meetings underscored the shared intent to deepen economic ties and enhance strategic collaboration, reviewing progress from the 23rd India-Russia Annual Summit and discussing regional and global developments, including the conflict in West Asia.
