Vitria Technology announced the launch of its Autonomous Knowledge Plane with Self-Evolving Knowledge, a new solution for autonomous network operations. This technology aims to shift from probabilistic AI to knowledge-driven operations, addressing the limitations of traditional data-centric approaches in 5G-Advanced and Network-as-a-Service (NaaS) environments. Dale Skeen, co-founder and CTO of Vitria Technology, emphasized the need for understanding in autonomous operations. The VIA Knowledge Plane integrates telemetry, topology, and institutional knowledge to create a continuously evolving knowledge layer, enabling AI to reason and act with precision. Vitria Technology claims its VIA AIOps platform achieves over 95% incident resolution rates and significantly reduces manual effort, with a recent deployment demonstrating up to 80% faster resolution.
