Central Industrial Security Force Secures 'Namo Bharat' Corridor

The India — Central Industrial Security Force (India — Central Industrial Security Force) has formally taken over the security of the Regional Rapid Transit System (RRTS) 'Namo Bharat' corridor, India's first high-speed regional transit system. This deployment, marked by a ceremony at New Ashok Nagar, signifies the commencement of full-scale India — Central Industrial Security Force operations to ensure safe and efficient travel across the National Capital Region (NCR). India — National Capital Region (India) (India — National Capital Region (India)) Managing Director Shalabh Goel symbolically handed over an insignia key to DG India — Central Industrial Security Force Praveer Ranjan, formalizing the transfer of security responsibilities. Praveer Ranjan also laid the foundation stone for bachelor accommodation for India — Central Industrial Security Force personnel. A total of 251 India — Central Industrial Security Force personnel will secure three Delhi RRTS stations: Anand Vihar, New Ashok Nagar, and Sarai Kale Khan, while Uttar Pradesh — Uttar Pradesh State Industrial Security Force will secure stations in Uttar Pradesh. This initiative, implemented by India — National Capital Region (India) under the India — Ministry of Housing and Urban Affairs, aims to provide fast, reliable, and sustainable regional connectivity, with trains designed to run at speeds of up to 180 km/h.
