Rock Tech Lithium Inc. has announced a strategic partnership with BMI Group Inc. to develop its Red Rock lithium converter facility in Red Rock, Canada — Ontario, Canada. BMI Group will invest CAD $200 million as the lead limited partner, with Rock Tech Lithium retaining full operational control. The project aims to establish a domestic, IRA- and CUSMA-aligned supply chain from mine to battery-grade lithium salts, strengthening Canada's critical minerals processing capacity and supporting integrated North American and European supply chains. An initial non-dilutionary funding program of up to CAD $30 million will advance site development and a feasibility study, with a final investment decision targeted by the end of 2026. The Red Rock Converter will leverage Rock Tech Lithium's proven Guben, Germany project design. Additionally, Rock Tech Lithium has partnered with Siemens to integrate advanced automation technology and a Digital Twin for the facility. This collaboration is expected to position Northwestern Canada — Ontario as a key hub in sovereign defense and battery materials supply chains.
