KMTC Graduates Secure German Placements

Kenya Medical Training College (KMTC) physiotherapy graduates are increasingly securing significant healthcare placements in Germany, facilitated by the African Business Community (ABC). Data shows 84 KMTC graduates have been placed, with an additional 159 in preparation. This initiative marks KMTC's first active exploration of the German market, which faces a shortage of over 20,000 physiotherapists due to an aging population and rising chronic conditions. The collaboration includes German language training, professional recognition, and job placement support for graduates. This success positions KMTC ahead of other Kenyan institutions like Jomo Kenyatta University of Agriculture and Technology, Moi University, and Southern University of Science and Technology in international placements, highlighting the quality and adaptability of its graduates.
