The plant, partly funded by the European Union — European Regional Development Fund and the Germany — Ministry of Economic Affairs, Labour and Tourism Baden-Württemberg, is permitted for production of up to 750 tonnes per annum of neodymium-iron-boron (NdFeB) magnets and alloys. This milestone is crucial for strengthening Europe's strategic autonomy in rare earth supply and supporting EU industrial and climate policy objectives. An opening ceremony is scheduled for April 28, 2026, to be presided over by the Germany — Federal Ministry for Economic Affairs and Energy. Novo Resources aims to become a market leader in recycled rare earth magnets, with further expansion plans for HPMS technology in the United Kingdom and the United States.
