Lee Milne Jailed for Culpable Homicide

Suicide of Kimberly Milne has been jailed for eight years in a landmark Scottish case after being convicted of culpable homicide and domestic abuse, which led to the suicide of his wife, Kimberley Milne. Kimberley Milne died on July 27, 2023, after jumping from a bridge in United Kingdom — Dundee, following an 18-month campaign of physical and psychological abuse by Suicide of Kimberly Milne. The prosecution, led by the Scotland — Crown Office and Procurator Fiscal Service, marks the first time in United Kingdom — Scotland that an offender has been held criminally responsible for a partner's suicide due to domestic abuse. Suicide of Kimberly Milne's abusive behavior included physical violence, verbal abuse, coercion, and controlling Kimberley Milne's finances and social contacts. The United Kingdom — High Court of Justiciary in Glasgow handed down the sentence, which also includes a three-year extended supervision period.
