The investment by Solowin Holdings in Libeara is expected to boost the tokenization ecosystem, bridging traditional finance and on-chain markets. This could lead to increased adoption of regulated digital assets, positively impacting companies involved in fintech and blockchain.
Solowin Holdings, through its venture arm AlloyX Ventures Limited, announced its participation in the latest funding round for Libeara, a regulated real-world asset (RWA) tokenization platform. This strategic investment aims to foster ecosystem synergies and advance tokenization initiatives globally, strengthening the connection between traditional finance and on-chain markets. Dr. Thomas Zhu of AlloyX Ventures Limited will join Libeara's board as an observer, providing strategic support. This collaboration builds on previous efforts, such as the launch of RYT, a tokenized money market fund, developed using Solowin Holdings's FERION platform. Libeara, backed by VSR Ventures Private Limited, has already tokenized over US$1 billion in regulated assets.
