Nigerian Army Neutralizes Terrorists in Plateau

Troops of the Nigeria — Nigerian Army's Operation Enduring Peace, in collaboration with local vigilante groups, conducted coordinated clearance operations in Daba and Seri villages of Wase and Kanam Local Government Areas in Nigeria — Plateau State on April 9, 2026. Acting on credible intelligence, the troops engaged a large group of terrorists mounted on motorcycles, neutralizing 10 of them and recovering significant arms and logistics supplies, including AK-47 rifles, ammunition, motorcycles, and fuel. The Nigeria — Nigerian Army also responded to an attack on commuters along the Razat-Kafi Abu axis, forcing assailants to retreat and conducting follow-up cordon-and-search operations.
