The positive drill results from West Red Lake Gold Mines' Madsen Mine are likely to increase investor confidence in West Red Lake Gold Mines, potentially leading to a rise in its stock price. The discovery of high-grade gold mineralization could also positively influence the broader gold mining sector and the price of Gold.
West Red Lake Gold Mines reported highly encouraging drill results from its 100% owned Madsen Mine in the Red Lake Gold District of Northwestern Canada — Ontario, Canada. The results from the Austin 904 Complex, drilled from the 13 Level at approximately 650m depth, include significant intercepts such as 5.35m @ 215.46 g/t Gold, 4.05m @ 50.34 g/t Gold, and 3m @ 61.70 g/t Gold. William Robinson, Vice President of Exploration, emphasized the growing importance of the Austin 904 Complex, which is a completely intact panel of gold mineralization, approximately 200m by 200m in size, with no historic mining. This provides West Red Lake Gold Mines with full access to the mineralized zone, expected to result in larger stopes and increased efficiency. The company anticipates continued drilling focus on this area throughout 2026, with initial production projected for H1 2027. The technical information was reviewed and approved by William Robinson and samples were analyzed by SGS S.A.
