The Nigeria — Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB) has announced a slight adjustment to the arrival time for candidates taking the 2026 Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME). Specifically, candidates for the first session are now required to arrive at their examination centers by 7:00 a.m. instead of the previously scheduled 6:30 a.m. The examination will commence at 8:30 a.m. and conclude at 10:30 a.m. This change was communicated via JAMB's official X handle and aims to address feedback regarding early morning travel challenges and logistical difficulties. Other sessions' timings have also been revised to ensure smoother operations at Computer-Based Test (CBT) centers across Nigeria. Candidates are not required to reprint their examination slips due to this adjustment. The UTME is scheduled to take place from April 16 to April 25, 2026.
