Technip Energies has been awarded two Front-End Engineering Design (FEED) contracts by Société Gabonaise de Raffinage for its refinery in Port-Gentil, Gabon. The contracts cover the revamp and expansion of the existing refinery, including debottlenecking, a new kerosene sweetening unit, four new storage facilities, and a new modularized Hydrocracker Complex. These projects aim to significantly expand Société Gabonaise de Raffinage's refining capacity, meet Africa 5 fuel quality standards for reduced sulfur emissions, and support Gabon's economic development and local employment. Loïc Chapuis of Technip Energies emphasized the company's expertise in both brownfield optimization and greenfield project development.
