Boy's Recovery Takes 'Sad Step Backward'

A French boy, who was six years old when Jonty Bravery threw him from the 10th-floor balcony of the Tate Modern in August 2019, has experienced a 'sad step backward' in his recovery. The boy, who sustained life-changing injuries including a brain haemorrhage and multiple fractures, underwent surgery in January. His family provided an update on a GoFundMe page, stating that his rehabilitation is 'proving longer and more difficult than expected' and he remains hospitalized, unable to walk. Jonty Bravery, now 24, was sentenced to a life term for attempted murder and has received additional prison sentences for assaulting nurses at Broadmoor Hospital in the United Kingdom.
