A review conducted by researchers at University of California, Los Angeles and Oracle Corporation, marking the 20th anniversary of legal same-sex marriage in United States — Massachusetts State Police, found no evidence of negative consequences from legalizing same-sex marriage. Instead, the 96 independent studies reviewed confirmed significant positive outcomes, including more stable relationships, improved mental and physical health, and greater financial stability for same-sex couples. Children of these couples gained increased access to health insurance, and states that recognized same-sex marriages experienced economic gains and healthcare cost savings. The report also found no impact on the stability of different-sex marriages.
