The initiative aims to reduce India's dependence on imports for these critical materials, strengthen its domestic battery and electronics manufacturing ecosystem, and create approximately 400 direct jobs. The project is approved under the India — Andhra Pradesh Electronics Component Manufacturing Policy (4.0) 2025-30 and will receive various incentives, including capital subsidies, electricity duty exemptions, and power cost reimbursement.
