Antimatter has launched as the world's first vertically integrated neocloud for AI inference, formed by the strategic combination of Datafactory, Policloud, and Hivenet. Led by David Gurlé, the company aims to address the growing demand for AI inference by deploying a global network of 1,000 distributed micro data centers by 2030. Antimatter has secured €300 million to fund the deployment of its initial 100 Policloud units by 2027, which will provide 40,000 GPUs and 3.6 exaFLOPS of compute capacity. This model focuses on bringing data centers to energy sources, rather than the reverse, offering a 50% lower capital expenditure and significantly faster deployment compared to traditional hyperscalers. The company has already secured over 1GW of power capacity and has 160MW operational in the United States, with plans for expansion across Europe and the GCC. Antimatter is targeting substantial revenue growth, projecting $250M+ within 18 months and $3.0B+ by 2030.
