The Nigeria — Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board, through its spokesperson Fabian Benjamin, clarified why some candidates are seeing 'No Result Yet' for their 2026 Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination results. The board stated that results for underage candidates (those not yet 16 by September 30, 2026) are being withheld. Exceptions exist for academically outstanding underage candidates who score 320 or above and achieve 80% in subsequent screenings, in line with agreements made with their parents. These results will remain unreleased until the screening process for exceptional candidates is concluded.
