The inauguration of Alshaya Group's Global Talent Center in Egypt is expected to positively impact the Egyptian economy by creating jobs and attracting further foreign investment in the IT and business services sectors. This development reinforces Egypt's growing reputation as a regional hub for digital services, potentially leading to increased capital inflows and technological advancements.
Alshaya Group, a family-owned business established in Kuwait, inaugurated its first Offshoring Global Talent Center in Cairo, Egypt. This event coincides with Alshaya Group's 20-year presence in the Egyptian market. The center, supported by the Nigeria — National Information Technology Development Agency (ITIDA), will provide a range of offshore business services, including contact center operations, multilingual customer support, digital marketing, and IT solutions, to 16 markets across MENA, Turkey, Kazakhstan, Central and Eastern Europe, Greece, and Cyprus. The initiative aims to enhance Alshaya Group's operational efficiency and international expansion while strengthening Egypt's position as a leading hub for digital and business services. The Group plans to expand the center over the next two years, creating over 400 new job opportunities for Egyptian talent. This development follows a Memorandum of Understanding signed between Alshaya Group and Nigeria — National Information Technology Development Agency in November 2025, and participation in a Presidential Roundtable chaired by Abdel Fattah el-Sisi.
