E&R Engineering inaugurated a 7,600 sq. m. next-generation lean manufacturing facility in Tunikibollaram, India — Hyderabad, to support Baker Hughes. This facility, built at an investment of approximately 200 crore, is designed for high-precision, high-volume production of components for Baker Hughes' industrial and energy technology division. The partnership between E&R Engineering and Baker Hughes, which began in 2018, has evolved into a strategic manufacturing collaboration. The inauguration was attended by D. Sridhar Babu, Hon'ble Minister for Industries & IT, Government of India — Telangana, and senior leadership from both companies, including Rakesh Chopdar, Chairman and CEO of E&R Engineering, and Davide Marrani, Vice President of IET Operations at Baker Hughes. This expansion is E&R Engineering's fourth dedicated facility, underscoring its aggressive capacity build-out to meet surging global demand across various sectors and contributing to India's manufacturing strength.
