This deal, one of Ukraine's largest M&A transactions in decades, involved a consortium led by Xavier Niel's NJJ Holding with Event Horizon Capital as a minority investor. The transaction included $435 million in debt financing from the International Finance Corporation and European Bank for Reconstruction and Development, backed by the International — European Commission's Ukraine Investment Framework, representing a total $1.5 billion investment in Ukraine. The award recognizes Event Horizon Capital's leadership and innovative approach in structuring and executing the acquisition, which drove significant growth for Datagroup.
