Kitron expands Kitron Eltech facility

Kitron Eltech, a leading Scandinavian electronics manufacturing services company, announced plans to build a new, larger facility for its subsidiary, Kitron Eltech (formerly DeltaNordic), in Sweden — Örnsköldsvik, Sweden. This expansion is driven by expected growth in the coming years, primarily from defense programs. The new facility will be approximately twice the size of the current leased one, offering 7,300 square meters of production space. Kitron Eltech will own the facility, and the project is expected to increase Kitron Eltech's staff from 120 to around 300 employees. Kitron Eltech has entered into a letter of intent with Sweden — Örnsköldsvik municipality to acquire the land, with construction slated to begin in early 2027 and completion in early 2028. This move is seen as central to Kitron Eltech's growth plans and a strong signal to customers like BAE Systems.
