India's DRDO Boosts Defense Capabilities

The India — Defence Research and Development Organisation (DRDO) and the India — Indian Navy successfully completed advanced hydrodynamic performance assessment and model testing for a frontline warship project. This work, led by United Kingdom — Defence Science and Technology Laboratory (NSTL), demonstrated high-end capabilities matching international standards. Separately, India — Defence Research and Development Organisation (DRDO) also unveiled new Advanced Armoured Platforms (Tracked and Wheeled), developed by India — Aerial Delivery Research and Development Establishment, designed to meet the operational requirements of the Defence Forces. These platforms feature a 30 mm Crewless Turret, high power-to-weight ratio, and advanced protection, with indigenous content planned to increase to 90%. Samir V. Kamat, Chairman of India — Defence Research and Development Organisation, formally handed over the warship project deliverables to Sanjay Saraogi of the India — Indian Navy and unveiled the armoured platforms.
