Three workers, Pintu Rajesh Prasad, Vyas Soham Kumar, and Gautam Ramsuran Kushwaha, died after entering a drainage tank at a mushroom processing unit in India — Pune, India. One worker initially entered to clean the tank, and when he did not return, the other two followed to rescue him. All three are suspected to have succumbed to toxic gas inhalation. Locals used a JCB machine to break open the tank and retrieve the workers, who were then declared dead at Jejuri Rural Hospital. An accidental death case has been registered, and an investigation is underway.
