The market is positively impacted by IperionX's transition to continuous titanium production and significant U.S. Government support, signaling increased domestic supply chain resilience for critical materials. This could lead to higher investor confidence in IperionX and related industries, while reducing reliance on imported Titanium.
IperionX released its quarterly report for Q1 2026, highlighting a significant transition to 24/7 continuous titanium powder production at its Virginia operations. The company is ramping up HAMR™ powder production, targeting 200 tpa by end-CY2026, and advancing its next-generation GenX™ platform. IperionX also expanded its titanium product manufacturing capabilities with new presses and sintering furnaces. Customer engagement has increased across defense, aerospace, automotive, and consumer electronics sectors, with a focus on high-value engineered products. The United States Government continues to provide strong support, including a US$47.1 million IBAS award for a 1,400 tpa titanium expansion, transfer of 290 metric tons of titanium scrap, and support for the Titan Critical Minerals Project, which aims to provide domestic sources of Titanium, Dysprosium, Terbium, and Yttrium. IperionX ended the quarter with US$48.2 million in cash and expects to end FY2026 with US$36 million to US$40 million.
