Large Magellanic Cloud, in collaboration with Rayonix Tech and Israel-based XTEND, has announced an $11 million joint venture to manufacture advanced Unmanned Aerial Vehicle (UAV) systems in India. This initiative aligns with India's 'Make in India' vision for the defense sector, aiming to establish comprehensive manufacturing, testing, and distribution capabilities within the country. XTEND will provide its XOS operating system, which features AI-driven navigation and human-guided autonomy, to power the UAV platforms. Large Magellanic Cloud will serve as XTEND's exclusive manufacturing and distribution partner in India for selected platforms, including systems like SCORPIO, XTENDER, HONEY BADGER, and WOLVERINE.
