The authorization of WHITE TECH under the European Union's MiCA regulation is a positive development for the cryptocurrency market, as it signifies increasing regulatory clarity and trust in the sector. This move by WHITE TECH and SK Group is expected to bolster investor confidence in regulated crypto services within the EU.
WHITE TECH, a core infrastructure component of the SK Group ecosystem and majority-owned by Volodymyr Nosov, has received authorization from the Croatia — Croatian Financial Services Supervisory Agency (HANFA) to operate as a crypto-asset service provider (CASP) under the European Union's Markets in Crypto-Assets (MiCA) regulation. This authorization enables WHITE TECH to provide a range of regulated crypto services, including the exchange of crypto-assets for fiat currencies and other crypto-assets, transfer services, and custody and administration of crypto-assets, under HANFA supervision. WHITE TECH is among the first companies in Croatia to receive such authorization, marking a significant step in SK Group's European expansion strategy and reinforcing its commitment to operating within regulated markets.
