Ant International announced its significant global expansion at the MoMents 2026 fintech executive forum in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. The company now connects over 150 million global merchants with more than 2 billion user accounts, supporting over 300 payment methods in 220+ markets. CEO Peng Yang outlined a strategy to integrate its four main businesses (Alipay+, Antom, Bettr, WorldFirst) to offer comprehensive growth solutions. Key initiatives include partnerships in Vietnam with National Payment Corporation of Vietnam and Vietcombank for cross-border QR payments, a strategic alliance with Mexican fintech R2 for SME lending in Latin America, and collaboration with the Saudi Arabia — Saudi Central Bank (SAMA) and Mada Saidu to introduce Alipay+ QR payments in Saudi Arabia. Ant International also unveiled new FinAI solutions like the Agentic Mobile Protocol (AMP), the AI-as-a-Service platform GenAI Cockpit (used by TNG eWallet and easypaisa), AI SHIELD for risk management, the Falcon TST AI FX model, and the EPOS360 SME app. These developments aim to enhance financial interoperability, drive AI commerce, and provide secure, efficient fintech solutions globally.
