The adoption of semi-annual reporting by Pacific Energy Corporation may lead to less frequent financial updates for investors, potentially reducing administrative burden for the company. This change could influence investor perception regarding the transparency and liquidity of Pacific Energy Corporation's stock.
Pacific Energy Corporation has announced its intention to adopt the semi-annual reporting (SAR) pilot program, leveraging exemptions under Coordinated Blanket Order 51-933. This program allows eligible venture issuers, including those listed on the TSX Venture Exchange or the Canadian Securities Exchange, to transition from quarterly to semi-annual financial reporting. As a result, Pacific Energy Corporation will not file interim financial statements for the three-month periods ending March 31, 2026, and March 31, 2025, and the nine-month periods ending September 30, 2026, and September 30, 2025. The company will continue to file audited annual financial statements and six-month interim financial reports. Pacific Energy Corporation, an international energy company with operations in Pakistan, confirms it meets the eligibility criteria for the SAR pilot program.
