Additionally, rising foreign direct investment (FDI) inflows from the United Arab Emirates into India and increased overseas investments by Indian firms underscore the deepening economic partnership. Piyush Goyal also mentioned a separate virtual interaction with Peter Kyle, UK Secretary of State for Business and Trade, to enhance trade and investment ties between India and the United Kingdom through the India-United Kingdom Comprehensive Economic and Trade Agreement (CETA).
