Tampa Bay Student Murders Identified

The human remains of Nahida Bristy, a University of South Florida doctoral student, were identified near a Tampa Bay area bridge. Bristy and fellow doctoral student Zamil Limon, both 27 and from Bangladesh, were last seen on April 16 in Tampa. Limon's body was found on April 24 on the Howard Frankland Bridge. Two days later, Bristy's remains were found in a black trash bag, similar to how Limon's body was found. Both victims suffered multiple stab wounds. Limon's roommate, Hisham Abugharbieh, 26, has been charged with two counts of first-degree premeditated murder and other related charges. Abugharbieh allegedly asked ChatGPT how to dispose of a body before the disappearances. Bristy was a chemical engineering doctoral student, and Limon studied artificial intelligence in environmental science. Both were described as exemplary students.
