The debut of BioQ, an affiliate of Guyu, as a raw-material supplier at in-cosmetics Global, signals Guyu's entry into the global beauty supply chain, potentially increasing competition and innovation in the cosmetics and biotechnology industries. This event highlights the growing influence of Chinese innovation, which could lead to new market opportunities and shifts in global supply dynamics.
BioQ, the biotechnology affiliate of Chinese skincare brand Guyu, made its first appearance as a raw-material supplier at in-cosmetics Global in France — Paris from April 14-16, 2026. BioQ Senior Scientist Hou Sen presented three proprietary ingredients: AuroGlab, a high-purity glabridin; Ginsenoside CK, a highly active ginseng metabolite; and Biomimetic Extracellular Vesicles (BEV), a functional ingredient mimicking human cellular structures. The debut demonstrates Guyu's capacity to independently develop and produce its key raw materials and positions Guyu as an upstream technology company capable of exporting proprietary raw materials to the global market. Guyu is also a key company involved in setting the Chinese national standards for cellular anti-aging, marking the beginning of cellular-level precision skincare.
