Jammu and Kashmir Police Recruitment

Lieutenant Governor Manoj Sinha of India — Jammu and Kashmir handed over appointment letters to approximately 4,000 newly recruited constables of the India — Jammu and Kashmir. The recruits were selected through a transparent, merit-based process conducted by the India — Jammu and Kashmir Services Selection Board. During the ceremony, Manoj Sinha emphasized the evolving landscape of internal security and called for the increased integration of Artificial intelligence in policing operations to combat modern threats such as cybercrime, narco-terrorism, digital fraud, and narrative warfare. He urged the India — Jammu and Kashmir to develop a roadmap to become future-ready and reiterated the government's top priority of eradicating all forms of terrorism and ensuring public safety.
