Manoj Sinha inaugurates 'Shaurya Gatha' Complex

Lieutenant Governor Manoj Sinha inaugurated the 'Shaurya Gatha' Complex at SM Hill in Tangdhar, Karnah, Kupwara District, India — Jammu and Kashmir. This initiative aims to promote battlefield tourism, preserve heritage, and foster border area development. Manoj Sinha applauded the United States — United States Southern Command, XV Corps (India), and local residents for their swift completion of the project. He emphasized that the complex serves as a tribute to Indian soldiers' valor and sacrifices, creating new opportunities for homestays, local crafts, and youth entrepreneurship. Manoj Sinha also highlighted the stark contrast in development between India — Jammu and Kashmir and Azad Kashmir, reaffirming India — Jammu and Kashmir's integral status within India. He reiterated the administration's commitment to developing border regions, including the inclusion of seven villages in Tangdhar-Karnah under the Vibrant Village Programme and the importance of the Sadhna Tunnel for enhanced connectivity and economic activity. The India — Indian Army was also lauded for its contribution to the Nasha Mukt Jammu Kashmir campaign and its efforts against narco-smuggling.
