Sumit Satish Rastogi Jailed in Australia

Sumit Satish Rastogi, an Indian-origin massage therapist, was sentenced by the Australia to 13 years and 10 months in prison for sexually abusing 61 women at an Adelaide massage parlour. The offences, which included 55 counts of indecent filming and 42 counts of aggravated indecent assault, occurred between October 2021 and July 2022. Judge Carmen Matteo described Sumit Satish Rastogi's actions as 'exploitative and out of control'. Sumit Satish Rastogi pleaded guilty to 97 offences and was diagnosed with voyeuristic disorder, though this did not reduce his criminal responsibility. He is expected to be deported to India after serving his sentence.
