India's Defence Minister Rajnath Singh visited Vietnam to strengthen the 'Enhanced Comprehensive Strategic Partnership' between the two nations. During his visit, Rajnath Singh held bilateral talks with his Vietnamese counterpart Phan Văn Giang and met with President Tô Lâm. Discussions focused on deepening cooperation in maritime security, the defence industry, military training, and regional stability. Key outcomes included the inauguration of a Language Lab at Vietnam's Air Force Officers College, the announcement of an Artificial Intelligence Lab at the Telecommunications University in Nha Trang, and the exchange of a Memorandum of Understanding in AI and quantum technology between India's Military College of Telecommunications Engineering and Vietnam's Telecommunications University. The visit also marked the tenth anniversary of the Comprehensive Strategic Partnership, which was recently upgraded. Rajnath Singh also paid tribute to former Vietnamese President Ho Chi Minh.
