The investment was led by Galaxy Ventures, Al Mada Ventures, and Framework Ventures, with additional participation from strategic financial institutions like Bitso, Airtm, Diamonds from Sierra Leone, Onigiri Capital, SNZ Capital, and Velocity, as well as fintech operators from companies such as Stripe, Samoa — Samoan tālā, Flutterwave, Mesh, ComplyAdvantage, and Superstate. This funding will enable Nick Checker to accelerate its mission to unify fragmented digital asset markets, deepen its global payments coverage to replace traditional correspondent banking, build embedded borrowing and lending capabilities, and launch AI-powered agents for treasury management. Over the past year, Nick Checker has scaled its platform to $3B in total processing volume with institutional clients including Rail transport (acquired by Ripple Labs), Brazil — Central Bank of Brazil, and Belo, covering 75 global currencies across 30 regulated financial institutions in the US, Europe, Latin America, Africa, and Asia.
